Do you need it?
Dr. Spoo is often presented with a print-out of Hormone Salivary Testing during her initial meeting with women going through menopause. While it looks impressive and convincing on paper, Dr. Spoo relies on research that state information provided on the tests may not be accurate, plus is not recommended by respected academic institutions.
Here’s why. Not only are the testing kits are different, thus not providing standardize results, but the kits are not FDA approved. Dr. Spoo suggests to treat her patients with treatments and solutions that are evidence-based. To date, there is no scientific basis for the accuracy of the results shown on the Hormone Salivary tests.
