Dr. Elizabeth Bailey’s practice is closed as of June 30, 2024. and she has recommended Lauren Spoo, MD for future care. Dr. Lauren Spoo also welcomes patients who she has previously cared for at Memorial Womens Specialists in Memorial City – to continue their care with her at her new practice location.

Dr. Lauren Spoo, a respected OBGYN, is now leading the practice and is dedicated to providing you with exceptional gynecologic and obstetrical care.
Conveniently located in the Town & Country Village Mall in West Houston’s Energy Corridor, Dr. Spoo offers obstetrical care along with modern gynecological treatments combined with holistic approaches to help women manage menopause, endometriosis, PCOS, menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding, fibroids, low libido, family planning, and contraception management – among many other gynecological problems.
The practice is dedicated to exceptional patient satisfaction. Staff members, not an automated system, answer all calls and same- and next-day appointments are often available, especially in urgent cases.
The practice takes pride in running on time. With no double booking, patients rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes to see a provider. Dr. Spoo takes care of each patient and spends one-on-one time with women at every appointment. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Nursing, she began her career as a United States Air Force labor and delivery nurse, caring for women during some of life’s most important moments. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Arizona State University in 2016. Kathy recently retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel, where she led top-performing clinics and held multiple leadership roles.
